The 2003 Latsis Symposium on Neural Coding and Modeling

The symposium will bring together theoreticians working on neural modeling, in particular on the problem of neural coding. The symposium will be immediately followed by a more experimentally oriented workshop `Brain in Motion' organized by Henry Markram (Feb. 19-22). There will be a single track of talks. All talks are by invitation only. The conference is open to scientists interested in neural coding and modeling who should register before January 15, 2003. Participation is free, but registration is mandatory. Poster boards will be provided for those who wish to present a poster. The symposium will be held on the campus of the EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne), located beautifully on the shores of the lake of Geneva.
